K&B’s attorneys regularly appear in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Surrogate's Court, United States District Court, United States Bankruptcy Court, Civil Court of the City of New York (e.g., Housing Part), county District Courts, Appellate Term and Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court, and United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. In addition, the firm’s attorneys occasionally argue before the New York Court of Appeals. Many of our attorneys also are admitted to the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.

K&B attorneys also regularly appear before a multitude of state and city administrative agencies, including: the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR), New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), New York City Environmental Control Board (ECB), New York City Department of Health (DOH), and New York City Department of Buildings (DOB).

- Defense of rent registration disputes
- Obtaining certificates of no harassment from the HPD
- Defense of tenant initiated complaints regarding an alleged reduction of services or alleged harassment
- Defense of challenges to rent increases
- Defense of alleged ECB violations
- Defense of alleged DOH violations

The firm's attorneys have been retained as expert witnesses in both state and federal courts. Our attorneys also have lectured at the Real Estate Institute and New York University School of Continuing Education, and have been solo speakers or panel members at numerous seminars offered by the Rent Stabilization Association (RSA) or the Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP).
